In a typical assembly, the spring along to push the BB pellets with the muzzle velocity of 100m/s (with 0.20g bb). Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the final muzzle velocity gained by the mounting of the spring is depending on the sealing of the whole mechanism, the type of the used cylinder, the length of the barrel and its diameter.
